If smoky whisky is your thing then Ardbeg has to be on your wish list. With access to the same casks as Glenmorangie they produce a whisky with a wonderful balance of smoke and sweet. Their annual committee release is always hotly anticipated and is always snapped up quickly by collectors. Often consisting of experimental cask finishes and modifications to the production process, they really are brilliant.
