Balblair is one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries dating back to 1790. Up until recently they released expressions with vintages with the likes of 1993 and 2000 being favourites. However they have now moved to the more common age statements with a 12,15,18 and 21 year old. Balblair featured heavily in the 2013 film the Angel Share, where a cask of whisky is stolen from the distillery.
