Ballindalloch is known as Scotland’s first single estate distillery. They use barely from their surrounding fields to produce their whisky and feed their award winning cows with the draff. It sits close to Ballindalloch castle making it the first distillery to operate within a castle’s grounds. It was officially opened by the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in 2015 and plan to release their first whisky at around 8 years old.
