Burnobennie Distillery

This new Highland distillery has been operating under the radar for a several years, focussing on trying to perfect the mash bill and experimenting in creating other spirts such as vodka, calvados and rye. Their mash bill is made up of pale, crystal and chocolate malt. The spirit style is rich and unctuous with a slight bitter roasted coffee finish. In addition to the core Burnobennie offering, they also trade as Liathmor. Liathmor's whisky features a lightly Peated Golden Promise heritage barley which is matured in Ex-Bourbon and PX casks and sold across the UK, Europe, US and Asia.
