Often sulphur is seen as a negative flavour in whisky. Distillers are constantly ensuring their production process removes these unwanted compounds. However, Craigellachie revels in the fact their spirit is full of these meaty compounds. The distillery is filled with meaty and cabbage like aromas that give Craigellachie its distinctive taste. This is maintained through little copper contact with the spirit and worm tub condensers.
