Inchdairnie has already shown signs of being a very experimental distillery. They are taking barley from all seasons, including winter, to produce their whisky. The plan is to then vat spirit from all the seasons to create the true single vintage. In addition to this they also have a hammer mill and mash filter, meaning they are the second distillery in Scotland to do so. Inchdairnie have the option to triple distil their whisky with the introduction of a Lomond still. It will be interesting to see the range of flavours and expressions released down the years.
