For a long time Tamnavulin was only part of Whyte and Mackay’s port folio for the sole purpose of blending. When Emperador took over W&M they placed more focus on Tamnavulin’s single malt presence. In 2016 they released their double cask and soon to follow was a sherry cask alongside a range of wine finishes.
