Torabhaig is the second distillery to be built on Skye after the well-known Talisker. They began producing whisky in January 2017 and already have they first release available. Interestingly, they have a project called the Journeyman Projects where a different distiller is allowed to create their own unique style each month. They can experiment with fermentation, distillation and maturation as long as its within the SWA rules.
